Happy Easter!

I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! It has been such a blessing having everyone's prayers, support, and love the last few months...we wouldn't be able to go through this without you!

Well the last week has been a little bit crazy! Chemotherapy is cumulative...and had finally caught up to Dad after last week's treatment. He spent the first few days battling a heartburn type feeling accompanied by hiccups, both which make it impossible to sleep. The "miracle mouthwash" helped but then he battled nausea for almost the whole week. The nausea obviously gives him a loss of appetite which make him more weak than normal. He listened to his body though and took the time to rest. Finally about Friday he started to get his "groove" back! We are all (Dad especially, of course) to be in the home stretch of chemo!

Other than that I don't have much to update, I felt so blessed this weekend as I was Baptized and Confirmed into the Catholic Church. My faith has been such a huge part in my life the last year, especially the last few months so it was incredible to be able to share the experience with my family and friends and I am so thankful they were all there to celebrate with me! Here are some pictures, hope you have a wonderful week!

Hi,

This is Linda, your SWA Chemo Buddy. Hope you are feeling better. I experienced almost exactly what you did after chemo. Hiccups and heartburn a lovely combination. Completely wiped out for 4 days. When I think of going back there next week makes me want to gag. But I will see you there on the 19th, it will be your last and I will have only one more left. We shall celebrate and hiccup together!!!!!
